Cadillac repair costs before you book
These planning estimates depend on the model, fitted equipment and confirmed fault. Your written quote identifies parts, labor, tests and the total including VAT. VAT treatment of the estimates below is confirmed when quoting; they are not fixed offers.
Minor engine service
AED 650 to 1,100Specified engine oil, oil filter, labor and basic inspection on applicable gasoline models. Other filters, plugs and faults are extra. Not a LYRIQ engine service.
Brake pads per axle
AED 850 to 1,800Compatible pad set, installation and brake checks. Discs, sensors and caliper work are separate; pads and discs together cost more.
AC assessment or limited repair
AED 250 to 1,500+The lower end covers assessment. A limited repair depends on the finding. Major compressor, evaporator or refrigerant-circuit work needs a separate quote.
Selected suspension work
AED 450 to 2,500+Checks or selected small-component repairs, depending on scope. Air springs, adaptive dampers, compressors and major assemblies are not represented by the lower price.
Low-voltage battery replacement
AED 650 to 1,600Matching low-voltage battery, fitting and supply checks where applicable. Confirm specification and any required setup. This is not an EV traction-battery price.
Engine internal work, transmission rebuilding and major adaptive suspension repairs need a diagnosis before a useful total can be given. Compare the complete fitted quote, including fluids, seals, access work and required setup, rather than the component price alone.

Start with the problem you notice
Rough running or coolant loss
An engine scan helps identify which system needs investigation. Cooling pressure checks, leak inspection and mechanical tests may still be needed. A code alone does not prove that a major engine part has failed.
A harsh ride or uneven height
Tell us whether the change happens overnight, over bumps or after a warning appears. Tires, joints, dampers and fitted air suspension need different checks. We identify the equipment before recommending parts.
Hard shifts or delayed engagement
Note whether the symptom is cold, warm or under load. Fluid condition, leaks, fault information and mechanical behavior guide the next step. A transmission service is not a guaranteed cure for internal wear.
Your model and equipment change the repair
Escalade ride complaints
Some vehicles have Magnetic Ride Control, which adjusts damping. Air Ride Adaptive Suspension uses air springs to change ride height. These systems are different and may be fitted together. The model year alone does not confirm the equipment.
XT5 and CT5 maintenance
Match fluids, filters, brakes and battery specification to the engine and vehicle configuration. A low-voltage supply fault can cause several messages, but each returning fault still needs checking after the supply is corrected.

When a targeted repair makes sense
Repair the failed component
An external cooling hose leak, a worn joint or an accessible damaged connection may justify a focused repair. Check related components and retest the original complaint before adding more work.
Compare a rebuild with replacement
For a damaged engine or transmission, compare the confirmed internal damage, rebuilding feasibility, parts availability and complete installed cost. A replacement assembly should have an identified condition and written terms. Neither choice should be made from a warning code alone.
Choose parts with the fitted cost in mind
Ask which part brand and specification the quote includes. New, aftermarket, rebuilt and used parts have different suitability and warranty considerations. Confirm any required programming, calibration, fluids and labor before choosing.
A LYRIQ battery concern needs the right first check
A LYRIQ has a low-voltage electrical system as well as a high-voltage traction battery. The low-voltage battery estimate above does not cover replacement of the traction battery.
Low-voltage diagnosis and ordinary mechanical checks may be possible, while charging, traction-battery and energized high-voltage work require specific capability confirmation. We check whether the vehicle and procedure can be accepted before agreeing to that work.

When your Cadillac should not be driven
Overheating or loss of oil pressure
Stop safely and switch off the engine if it overheats or an oil-pressure warning tells you to stop. Do not keep restarting it to reach the garage. Never open a hot cooling system.
Loss of control or smoke
Do not continue driving with reduced braking or steering, a fuel leak, severe smoke or a stop warning. Move away and call emergency services for smoke or fire. For a safe, stationary vehicle, call us to discuss suitable recovery before arranging a visit.

May I drive an overheating Cadillac?
