Website request · workshop agreement
Terms of service
These terms distinguish general website information, an enquiry, an estimate, an accepted work order and a completed repair. They are not all the same commitment.
AMF Auto Services operates Auto Repair UAE. Any vehicle-specific estimate, authorization, invoice or written warranty issued for a job forms part of the agreement for that work and takes priority where it is more specific.
Acceptance is specific
What each stage means
A page or message can help prepare the job, but repair authority should come from the vehicle-specific scope.
Explains services, common decisions and information to prepare.
It does not diagnose a vehicle or guarantee that a particular repair is appropriate.
Asks the workshop to review a request and contact you.
It does not confirm availability, price, completion time or acceptance of the vehicle.
Sets out known work, assumptions, exclusions, parts and price basis.
A preliminary estimate may change when access, testing or dismantling reveals material facts.
Allows the identified inspection, repair, parts or other work to proceed.
It does not authorize unrelated work or additions that require a new approval.
Records the work completed, parts supplied, amount due and relevant written terms.
It does not erase statutory consumer rights or hide unresolved observations.
Before the vehicle arrives
Information and authority you provide
You confirm that you own the vehicle or have the owner’s authority to request the work. Please provide information that could change safe handling or diagnosis, including warning messages, overheating, fluid loss, accident or water exposure, modifications, previous repair attempts, disabled safety systems, wheel-lock information and property left in the vehicle.
Remove cash, valuables and unnecessary personal belongings before handover. Tell the workshop about anything that must remain. AMF Auto Services is not responsible for ordinary pre-existing wear or a defect that could not reasonably be identified within the approved inspection scope.
Scope and consent
Work should remain inside the approved boundary
- 01
Inspection and diagnosis
Some symptoms require testing, scan work, access or dismantling before the cause and complete repair can be priced. The approved diagnostic scope, charge and stop point should be identified where applicable. Diagnosis is a process of evidence; it is not a promise that every intermittent fault will reproduce.
- 02
Estimate and assumptions
A quote should state what is included and any important assumption. Taxes, parts, fluids, consumables, programming, outside specialist work or transport should be included or excluded clearly. A website price, if shown, is not vehicle-specific unless the page expressly says otherwise.
- 03
Additional work
If the approved work reveals a different cause, hidden damage, unsafe condition or necessary addition, the workshop should pause at a reasonable stop point and seek further authorization. You may decline the additional work, subject to charges already approved and any steps needed to leave the vehicle in a safe, documented condition.
- 04
Completion time
Any timing is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise. Parts availability, approval delays, specialist services, testing, newly discovered damage and events outside reasonable control can affect completion. Material changes should be communicated.
Parts status must be visible
Parts, fluids and customer-supplied items
The estimate or invoice should identify parts as new, used, reconditioned or another stated condition where that distinction applies. Brand, specification and source should be recorded when they materially affect compatibility, warranty or price.
A customer-supplied part may be refused if its identity, condition, compatibility, software status or safe installation cannot reasonably be established. If accepted, labour coverage and responsibility for the supplied item should be agreed before installation. AMF Auto Services does not become the manufacturer or seller of a part merely because it agrees to fit an item supplied by the customer.
Price and handover
Payment follows the written record
Charges are payable according to the accepted estimate, work order and final invoice. The final record should distinguish parts, labour and any other charge or tax that applies. If a deposit, staged payment, cancellation condition, collection deadline or storage arrangement is relevant, it should be disclosed for that job rather than assumed from this page.
A vehicle is released when payment and any agreed handover conditions are completed. Collection by another person may require the customer’s authorization and reasonable identity checks.
Vehicle property and replaced parts
Ask before work begins if you want replaced parts retained or shown. Safety, exchange-unit, hazardous-material, warranty-return or disposal requirements may prevent a part from being handed over. The invoice should still identify replaced parts and their stated condition where applicable.
No blanket warranty claim
Warranty and consumer rights
The applicable written warranty depends on the approved service, supplied part, fault, usage and the terms recorded on the work order or invoice. This page does not create a universal warranty period for every repair.
What a written warranty should identify
The covered service or part, start point, duration, reasonable conditions, exclusions, claim route and remedy should be clear enough to apply to the actual job.
What should be reported promptly
A returning warning, leak, noise, overheating, loss of function or other concern connected with the completed work. Continuing to drive after a serious warning may worsen damage or create a safety risk.
What may require inspection
The workshop may need to inspect the vehicle and verify the connection between the reported concern and the original work before deciding the appropriate remedy.
Rights that remain
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy or supplier obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable UAE consumer-protection law.
For the workshop process behind an estimate, approval and handover, read our workshop standards. The Ministry of Economy provides an official overview of UAE consumer-protection requirements.
Independent workshop
Brand references identify vehicles, not affiliation
Auto Repair UAE and AMF Auto Services are independent of vehicle manufacturers and authorized dealer networks unless a page expressly and verifiably states otherwise. Manufacturer names, model names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used to identify relevant vehicles, systems or information. Some warranty, recall, security, coding or manufacturer-controlled procedures may require an authorized or separately approved channel.
Website terms
Use the information as preparation, not diagnosis
Site content is general information. It cannot inspect the vehicle, account for every variant or replace a qualified examination. Do not rely on a page to continue driving where a warning, leak, overheating, braking, steering, tyre, fuel, electrical or other condition may be unsafe.
You may view and link to public pages for personal or legitimate reference. Site text, design and original media may not be republished as another business’s material without permission. Third-party services and links are governed by their own terms.
Clarify before authorization
Ask for the vehicle-specific scope
If a quotation, part condition, exclusion or warranty term is unclear, ask before authorizing the work. Website privacy is covered separately in the privacy policy.
