Cold while moving, warm in traffic
Condenser airflow, fan operation, pressure behavior and engine temperature need checking. Adding refrigerant cannot repair a weak fan or restricted condenser.

Start with what the cabin is doing
The same “AC not cold” complaint can come from low refrigerant, poor condenser airflow, compressor control, a blocked filter, an actuator or an electrical fault. Tell us when the problem appears and which vents or zones are affected.
Condenser airflow, fan operation, pressure behavior and engine temperature need checking. Adding refrigerant cannot repair a weak fan or restricted condenser.
Dual-zone temperature settings, air-mix doors, actuators, sensor values and refrigerant level can create uneven cooling. The colder side does not identify the failed part by itself.
A loaded cabin filter, blower problem, evaporator restriction, duct issue or door fault may reduce airflow. Fan sound and air volume are checked at every speed.
Pressure protection, evaporator icing, sensor error, compressor overheating or control behavior can interrupt cooling. We reproduce the condition instead of relying only on a quick idle check.
A dirty evaporator area, blocked drain, wet carpet or outside moisture entry can cause odor. Water under the vehicle during AC use is often normal condensate, but cabin leakage is not.
Voltage supply, fuses, wiring, pressure information, climate controls and module communication may be involved. A scan code guides testing but does not automatically condemn a compressor.
Do this if you smell burning, see smoke, hear severe grinding, notice a damaged belt or find a refrigerant line heavily iced. Stop driving if the engine is overheating, because the cooling-system problem may be larger than the cabin AC fault.
Repair the confirmed cause
We can handle routine AC performance work and larger component repairs. The final scope depends on the installed system and test results.
Vent temperature, ambient conditions, pressure readings, fan behavior, compressor request, airflow and visible system condition are reviewed together.
The system is recovered and charged by weight when recharge is appropriate. Refrigerant type and specified quantity must match the vehicle.
Accessible hoses, connections, service ports, condenser and compressor areas are inspected. The confirmed leaking part or seal is quoted before replacement.
Power, command, pressure response, noise and internal contamination risk are considered before a compressor is ordered. Supporting items may be required after an internal failure.
Impact damage, blocked fins, leakage and fan performance can reduce cooling at low speed. The front cooling pack and engine temperature behavior are checked.
Weak airflow, clicking behind the dashboard, stuck temperature zones and missing fan speeds are traced through the relevant motor, actuator, resistor, wiring or control path.
Estimated complete-job ranges
Use these estimates for planning. Your Cadillac model, refrigerant type, access time, parts choice, contamination and the confirmed fault change the total. The written quote states the included labor, parts, materials and VAT treatment before work begins.
Send the Cadillac model, year and a short description of the cooling or airflow problem. Photos of warning messages are optional and can help when a control fault is present.
For equivalent parts and repair scope, our pricing can be 65% to 70% lower than agency pricing. This comparison is not a fixed discount for every fault. A compressor quote, for instance, must be compared with the same refrigerant service, supporting parts, labor and testing.

Front, rear and multi-zone cooling
Many Cadillac models use multiple temperature zones and powered air-distribution doors. If one side is warm, the cause may be an actuator or door position, a sensor reading, low refrigerant or an airflow restriction. Replacing an actuator without confirming movement and command can waste money.
Escalade and other larger cabins also need rear-airflow checks. A vehicle can cool well at the front while rear passengers receive weak air because the rear blower, controls, ducting or evaporator circuit has a separate problem. We record temperatures at relevant vents and compare fan response across zones.
A clicking sound after startup can point toward a door actuator, but dashboard noises can travel. We confirm the source and accessible movement before recommending dashboard dismantling. Where access is extensive, the estimate separates the diagnostic result from the labor needed to reach the part.
Find the fault before choosing the part
Testing follows the symptom. A system that cools poorly in traffic requires a different emphasis from a blower that does not run or a cabin with uneven zones.
Ambient temperature, center-vent output, fan speed and temperature stability show whether cooling is weak, intermittent or uneven.
The cabin filter, blower response, recirculation, distribution doors and vent output are checked for restriction or incorrect routing.
High and low side behavior, compressor command and condenser airflow help identify charge, restriction, control or heat-rejection problems.
Visible condition and suitable leak-detection methods are used where a leak is suspected. Refrigerant is not repeatedly added as a permanent repair.
Relevant fuses, supply, grounds, sensor information, module communication and actuator commands are checked when the complaint requires them.
Three very different repair choices
Suitable when testing supports the charge condition and no unresolved significant leak or component fault makes recharge wasteful. The correct refrigerant and charge weight matter.
Appropriate when a hose, seal, condenser, service port, actuator, wire or control component is confirmed. The system is serviced and retested after the repair.
Needed when a compressor, evaporator, blower or another major unit has failed. Internal compressor debris may require additional cleaning and supporting parts.
A can of refrigerant with stop-leak is not a substitute for diagnosis. Incorrect charge and incompatible additives can make later service more difficult and may damage equipment.
From warm vents to tested cooling
Send the model and describe the cooling, airflow, sound, odor or warning concern. Choose a workshop visit or request pickup.
We operate the system under relevant conditions and record temperature, airflow and control behavior.
Pressure, leakage, electrical supply, sensors, actuators or mechanical components are checked as the complaint requires.
You receive the findings, proposed repair, parts choice, total and expected timing. Additional work needs approval.
The agreed work is completed, the system is operated again, and relevant temperatures, pressures, airflow and warnings are checked.
Typical job estimates
These are realistic planning scenarios, not completed workshop records, reviews or fixed offers. The vehicle and fault still require inspection. Any warranty applies to the specific approved job and must be stated in writing.
Concern: Cooling is weaker than normal but the blower operates correctly.
Estimated work: Performance and pressure testing, accessible leak checks, recovery and correct refrigerant charge when testing confirms recharge is suitable. Replacement components are excluded.
Concern: Cabin cools poorly in traffic and refrigerant loss is traced to the condenser area.
Estimated work: Suitable condenser, installation, required seals, system evacuation and recharge, fan and operating checks. Extra cooling-fan or damaged line work is separate.
Concern: Compressor operation and pressure response remain incorrect after electrical command is confirmed.
Estimated work: Compatible compressor, installation and refrigerant service. The final total changes if contamination requires flushing, a receiver-drier or other supporting parts.
Sedans, crossovers and full-size SUVs
We inspect AC concerns across current and older Cadillac vehicles. The exact refrigerant, compressor design, cabin layout and control equipment depend on the model and year.
Front and rear cooling, large-cabin airflow, condenser performance, climate controls and engine-cooling interaction deserve attention.
We assess vent temperature, compressor behavior, leakage, blower operation, actuators and zone differences.
Sedan AC diagnosis includes cabin performance, sensor and actuator behavior, refrigerant containment and electrical control.
Older vehicles may need closer review of hoses, seals, compressor wear, condenser condition, actuators and previous refrigerant work.
Model and year are enough to begin. We request the VIN later only when it is needed to match a specific part or refrigerant specification.
Electric compressors and high-voltage thermal systems require separate safety and capability confirmation. Contact us first and we will identify the suitable inspection path.
Cooling under Dubai conditions
Cabin heat load rises quickly after outdoor parking. At idle, the condenser relies heavily on electric fan airflow, while the engine cooling system is also rejecting heat. A weak fan, dirty condenser face, incorrect refrigerant charge or rising engine temperature can therefore appear more clearly in traffic than at highway speed.
Very dark tint does not repair poor AC performance, and a strong blower does not prove that the refrigerant circuit is healthy. We measure cooling rather than judging it only by hand. When the system performs correctly but the cabin still gains heat quickly, glass condition, tint quality, door seals and recirculation operation may also affect comfort.
Run the AC regularly and keep the cabin filter from becoming heavily restricted. If cooling gradually fades, inspect it before repeated recharges. Early leak detection can protect the compressor from running with insufficient refrigerant and oil circulation.

Cadillac cooling questions
Performance testing usually ranges from AED 250 to AED 550. Recharge can range from AED 350 to AED 750 when suitable. Component repairs can range from about AED 650 for smaller control work to AED 5,500 for major evaporator access. The written quote follows inspection.
Poor condenser airflow is a common possibility, especially when cooling drops at idle. Fan operation, condenser condition, pressure behavior, refrigerant charge and engine temperature should be checked together.
A recharge may be suitable after testing, but repeated refrigerant loss needs diagnosis. Adding refrigerant without addressing a significant leak is temporary and can expose the compressor to poor operating conditions.
Uneven zones can result from an actuator or air-mix door, sensor information, control behavior, airflow restriction or low refrigerant. Temperature and door movement checks help separate these possibilities.
Testing and a straightforward service may be completed the same day when workshop capacity allows. Compressor, condenser, evaporator and dashboard-access work take longer and depend on parts availability. We provide expected timing with the estimate.
No. Odor can involve moisture, a dirty filter, drain problems, contamination around the evaporator or wet interior materials. Inspection should identify the source before a major replacement is proposed.
Yes. Free pickup and delivery are available in Dubai. Send the model, location and preferred timing. Mention any overheating or severe mechanical warning so transport can be arranged safely.
A dedicated on-site inspection is available by arrangement. Any call-out fee is confirmed first. Refrigerant recovery, deeper electrical diagnosis and major repairs may still require the Al Quoz 4 workshop.
No. The Cadillac model and a short description are enough to start. We may request the VIN later if it is needed to match the compressor, refrigerant specification, actuator or another part.
