Start with your concern

Start with your XPeng fault

Your XPeng may need a straightforward brake or tyre check, or a closer look at a charging or electrical warning. We start with what the car is doing and explain which checks are available for that model. The P7+, G6, G9 and X9 sold in the UAE are battery-electric vehicles, so a petrol-engine oil service, spark plugs and exhaust repairs are not relevant to these cars.

The first workshop look is free and covers your description of the problem and safely accessible condition. A computer scan, electrical measurements, dismantling and specialist testing are separate paid steps. We discuss the price for those steps before starting them, then quote any repair by the correct part, labor and final checks.

If the car has a serious high-voltage or temperature warning, unusual heat, underbody impact, or a major braking or steering concern, call before driving it. We can discuss safe collection or suitable transport once we know its condition.

Different faults, different checks

When XPeng warnings appear

Several messages after a flat 12-volt battery can point to a different starting check from a car that stops charging only at a particular DC station. A weak air conditioner, steering pull or new brake noise also calls for a physical inspection, even if a dashboard message is present.

Tell us if the car cannot select drive, has visible battery-area damage, is unusually hot or has a serious brake or steering problem. We will discuss how to move it safely before arranging a workshop inspection. Free pickup and delivery is available in Dubai. If the car is immobile or needs specialist EV recovery, we confirm transport and any separate charge before arranging it.

What changed?

Choose the first useful check

Tell us which of these situations fits your XPeng. Each points to a different first test; none proves a part has failed on its own.

Fails at one charger

If it charges elsewhere, compare the cable and charge point before assuming the car needs a new port or battery. If AC works but DC fails, tell us which charger and warning were involved.

Several warnings at once

A recent flat 12-volt battery makes low-voltage condition and supply worth testing first. We can quote a more detailed scan if the messages remain after the supply is stable.

Warnings after other work

New alerts after glass, bumper, tyre or suspension work call for an installation and alignment check. We confirm any model-specific camera or radar calibration requirement before accepting that work.

The work you need

XPeng faults and repair options

We begin with the symptom, check what can be done safely on your exact car, then quote the tests or repair. A P7+ part or procedure should not be assumed to fit an older P7 or an imported market version.

Warning lights and 12-volt supply

We check the accessible battery, connections and supply when the XPeng will not wake up or shows several warnings. A compatible scan may be quoted if a stable 12-volt supply does not resolve the messages. A replacement battery needs the correct specification and any required reset.

AC and DC charging faults

Tell us whether the problem occurs at home, at a public charger or on DC fast charging. We compare the cable, charge point, port and available vehicle alerts before quoting deeper testing. A charging failure alone does not establish a traction-battery fault.

Cooling and cabin air conditioning

Weak cabin cooling, loud fans, reduced charging or a temperature warning can involve different circuits. We inspect accessible condition and available fault information, then quote the test or repair needed. Refrigerant and high-voltage compressor work require the correct EV procedure.

Brakes, tyres and wheel condition

Regenerative braking does not eliminate pad, disc or fluid wear. We inspect friction parts and check tyre size, load rating, sidewalls and wear. Compatible pads or tyres, fitting and final checks are priced for the exact model; discs, sensors and hydraulic repairs are separate when needed.

Suspension and steering complaints

A knock, pull or uneven tyre wear calls for a physical chassis check. We inspect joints, bushes, dampers and wheel condition, then quote the confirmed component and any alignment work. A warning after steering or suspension repair may need additional electronic checks.

Cameras after glass or body work

Windscreen, bumper and alignment repairs can affect driver-assistance equipment. We inspect physical installation and any warning first. Calibration is accepted only after we confirm the equipment and procedure for your XPeng model and market version.

Used or imported XPeng checks

For a pre-purchase visit, we can discuss warning history, charging behaviour, accessible underbody condition, tyres, brakes and cooling. Import market and VIN may change parts and software access; we request those details when they affect the checks or a quote.

Damage near the battery

After a collision or underbody strike, visible panel damage is only part of the assessment. Stop driving and call if there is heat, smoke, a high-voltage warning or visible damage near the battery. We discuss safe transport and whether a specialist inspection is needed.

High-voltage or software work

Battery packs, inverters, drive units and manufacturer-controlled programming need verified tooling and access. We can review the concern and explain the next step, but will only accept a paid operation after checking the exact procedure. Otherwise we recommend an appropriate specialist.

Maintenance that applies

What an XPeng service includes

An XPeng service is based on its actual schedule and condition. These battery-electric cars do not need engine oil, spark plugs or a petrol-fuel service. The visit can cover the items below; filters, fluids, components and extra testing are priced when the model and work are confirmed.

AreaBasic checkWhen more work is needed
Tyres and wheelsPressure, tread, sidewalls and wear patternDamage, vibration or uneven wear calls for a wheel or chassis assessment.
Friction brakesPads, discs, calipers and visible fluid conditionNoise, pull or a warning may need an agreed scan and physical testing.
12-volt supplyBattery condition and accessible connectionsRepeated no-start or several alerts may need paid electrical diagnosis.
Cooling and cabinCabin performance and accessible leaks or fan issuesTemperature alerts or recurring refrigerant loss need a specific test.
ChassisSteering, joints, bushes and underbody condition where visibleImpact, looseness or uneven tyre wear may require further work.

For an imported car, the parts and software version may differ from the UAE specification. We check that before ordering a component or promising a procedure.

Model coverage

XPeng models in the UAE

XPeng lists the P7+, G6, G9 and X9 in its UAE range. The GX is advertised for pre-order; a future GX service request would need a separate parts and capability check. For any imported model, the market version can change the parts and available diagnostic functions.

XPeng P7+

The P7+ is distinct from the earlier P7. We check the exact model and market specification when matching brakes, body parts or electronic components.

XPeng G6

For G6 complaints, we separate charging, thermal, low-voltage, chassis and cabin issues before parts are proposed. Model year and market origin matter for equipment and diagnostic access.

XPeng G9

The larger G9 can present the same customer symptom through several systems, so warning messages, charging behaviour, suspension condition and cooling concerns are documented together where relevant.

XPeng X9

The X9 is an electric MPV. We account for its size and fitted equipment when arranging inspection, transport or parts, especially after a warning or impact.

Parts and specialist work

Which XPeng work can we complete?

We can inspect visible mechanical condition and investigate faults where our equipment works with the car. Software flashing, security functions, online coding and some camera calibrations may require manufacturer access. We check that access for your XPeng before accepting a paid operation.

Parts must match the model and market version, especially electronic and safety items. The quote identifies the part, availability, labor and testing. High-voltage battery, inverter and drive-unit repairs require suitable isolation procedures and technical information. If the operation needs equipment or access we cannot use, we will tell you and discuss specialist referral.

XPeng questions

XPeng charging and service questions

Do XPeng cars need engine oil changes?

No. The current XPeng models sold in the UAE are battery-electric vehicles, so petrol-car items such as engine oil, spark plugs, fuel-system cleaning and turbocharger work do not apply. Maintenance should focus on the actual EV, chassis, cooling, brake, tyre and cabin systems fitted to the vehicle.

Which XPeng models do you cover in Dubai?

We take enquiries for the UAE P7+, G6, G9 and X9, and can discuss privately imported XPeng models individually. The year and market specification may change the correct parts or testing. We can ask for the VIN if it is needed after your first enquiry.

Can you diagnose an XPeng that will not charge?

We can assess the complaint and separate obvious external charging issues, low-voltage supply faults, charge-port concerns, thermal warnings and vehicle-side fault information where compatible diagnostic access is available. High-voltage component work is only accepted after the exact scope and safety requirements are confirmed.

Is every battery warning a traction-battery failure?

No. A battery or power-system message can have several causes, including the 12-volt supply, charging conditions, cooling, communication faults or a genuine high-voltage problem. Diagnosis should identify the system reporting the fault before expensive parts are discussed.

Can you replace the XPeng 12-volt battery?

A 12-volt battery can be tested and replaced when the correct specification and reset requirements are confirmed. The 12-volt system is separate from the high-voltage traction battery, so the two should not be described as the same service.

Can you update XPeng software?

Software flashing and online coding depend on access for the exact vehicle. We check what can be read or performed and explain when an authorised service centre is needed.

What should I send before booking an XPeng repair?

Tell us the model and what is happening. If the car cannot move safely, mention that when you call. We can request the warning text, year, VIN or charger details later if needed.

Do you use genuine XPeng parts?

Your quote identifies the part and available options after we check compatibility. We confirm genuine-part availability rather than assuming every item is in stock. Safety-critical and high-voltage items need model-specific confirmation before ordering.

How much does XPeng repair cost in Dubai?

The first basic workshop inspection is AED 0. Our general EV guide lists computer diagnosis at AED 240–525 and charging diagnosis at AED 335–715 before VAT, subject to supported XPeng access. Parts and fitted repairs need a model-specific written quote showing VAT and the final total.
