Brakes and tyres
We inspect pads, discs, tyre size and wheel condition. A fitted quote can cover supported brake or tyre work with parts and verification stated; electronic brake steps are checked separately.
Rivian service in Al Quoz 4
At our independent Al Quoz 4 workshop, ask about Rivian R1T or R1S brakes, tyres, suspension, cabin cooling, low-voltage or charging concerns. We first check safe access and the fitted system, then explain the available service, its cost or the need for Rivian support. Call or send the main warning to begin.

Independent EV workshop
We start with brakes, tyres, accessible suspension, low-voltage supply and cabin cooling on the R1T or R1S. For a fitted repair, we first confirm safe lifting, part identity and supply, the service procedure and any electronic steps. Only then can we accept and price that job for the individual car.
A free initial workshop look covers the reported concern and visible condition. A scan, measurement or dismantling needs a separate explanation and approval. Secured software, internal battery work, recalls and warranty decisions remain with Rivian or an appropriately equipped specialist.
Maintenance intervals and campaigns should be checked in Rivian’s official support documents for the vehicle’s model year.
Where the part, access and procedure are supported, receive a written parts, labour and verification estimate.
If the fault is uncertain, agree the purpose and price of further diagnosis before it begins.
For protected or manufacturer work, use the inspection record to contact Rivian or a qualified EV specialist.
Estimated independent-service prices
These ranges cover defined assessments or accessible service, with the listed checks and labour. Replacement parts, fitted brake or suspension repairs, specialist transport and calibration need a separate quote for the actual R1T or R1S. VAT treatment is confirmed in the written quote.
Warning review, available system scan, 12-volt supply checks and complaint-specific physical inspection. Extended tracing is quoted separately when needed.
Battery condition, voltage stability, connections, wake-up behavior and charging-supply checks. Replacement parts and vehicle-specific setup are additional.
Mechanical inspection, friction measurements and approved basic service. Pads, discs, electronic procedures and calibration are priced after inspection.
Tyres, links, joints, visible air-suspension components, ride-height observations and a safe road check when the vehicle condition permits.
Airflow, vent temperature, visible condition, available fault evidence and leak-focused checks. High-voltage component work is assessed separately.
Pressure, tread, impact damage, visible wheel condition and wear-pattern review. Replacement tyres, alignment and wheel repair are separate jobs.
Send the model and main warning or symptom. The free first workshop look covers visible condition; the priced assessments above involve testing. We confirm whether the car can be driven and any collection arrangement or charge before booking.
Example job estimates
These hypothetical totals cover the stated checks, not a fitted replacement. They are not records of completed customer jobs. Parts and additional work need a separate quote.
Intermittent wake-up complaint with battery-condition testing, connection inspection, available fault review and a written next-step recommendation. Replacement is not included unless approved after testing.
Total estimate: AED 650
Front-end noise assessment including tyre and wheel condition, accessible joints and links, ride-height observations and a controlled road check when safe.
Total estimate: AED 800
Cabin cooling and temperature concern assessed through vent readings, visible component checks, available diagnostic information and leak-focused inspection.
Total estimate: AED 750
Confirm safe movement before arrival
Follow the vehicle’s displayed instructions and Rivian’s assistance guidance. Do not drive with a stop instruction, heat, smoke, a serious handling fault or suspected battery damage. For other warnings, call before planning the journey; a workshop booking does not establish that the car is safe to drive.
Before you approve repair
Ask for a separate decision on any additional test, part or outside service found after the initial estimate.
Match the part number and revision to the VIN, fitted equipment and source market. Confirm availability before ordering.
See installation, testing and any alignment, setup or calibration needed to complete the job.
Transport, specialist procedures and further findings should have their own cost and approval.
Maintenance for an R1T or R1S
Plan tyre, brake, cabin and fluid work against the owner guide for the exact model year. We check the fitted parts and procedure before quoting. Brake-fluid or coolant work, for example, should follow the relevant Rivian instructions rather than a generic EV interval.
A tyre rotation is useful only when the tyres and wheel condition permit it. Uneven wear may also call for an alignment or chassis check. Brake inspection separates pad or disc condition from corrosion, fluid and electronic-control concerns.
A cabin cooling concern can involve the wider thermal system. We check accessible evidence first and identify when high-voltage work or a Rivian-specific procedure is needed.
Software, campaigns and connected functions
Rivian handles software distribution, account functions, recall campaigns, warranty decisions and secured procedures. An independent scan is not a software update. If a fault began after an update, keep the exact alert and software details for the next service conversation.
Check recall or warranty eligibility with Rivian using the VIN. We can still assess an accessible mechanical concern, but our inspection cannot close a campaign or decide coverage. Confirm the part and procedure before approving independent work.
An imported vehicle may need separate checks for account access, charging compatibility, parts supply and official service arrangements in its source market.
Parts and procedure before disassembly
A fitted quote follows parts confirmation and states labour, testing, exclusions and any separate specialist step.
R1 vehicles have changed across model years and generations. VIN, build detail and source market can affect parts, wiring, software and procedures.
A reproducible symptom with available diagnostic information is different from an intermittent event that has already been cleared.
Parts availability, high-voltage scope, calibration, secured software and warranty status can change where the work is completed.
Imported R1T and R1S vehicles
Model year, generation, wheel package and equipment affect parts and procedures. Send the VIN and original sale country before arranging a part order or a difficult recovery. We can review visible part numbers, the fitted charging connector and the vehicle condition, then tell you which further information a quote needs.
Rivian’s configuration terms say service may be limited or unavailable outside the country where Rivian sold the vehicle. Confirm manufacturer support and any warranty or software options with Rivian using the VIN. A physical connector check here does not establish that every local charger, adapter or protected function will work.
For a non-driving vehicle, call before moving it. Charge state, rolling condition, steering and brake access affect suitable transport.
Questions before booking
These answers separate independent workshop work from manufacturer-controlled operations.
We can assess independent mechanical, low-voltage, air-conditioning, tyre, brake, suspension, body and diagnostic scope after checking the exact vehicle and concern. Manufacturer software, warranty, recall and internal high-voltage work may require Rivian support.
No. R1T and R1S vehicles are battery electric and do not have a combustion engine. Maintenance follows the model-specific Rivian guidance rather than a petrol-car package.
The first step is separating the charger, connector, low-voltage supply, vehicle controls, thermal condition and high-voltage system. The available repair depends on the finding and required access.
Rivian controls vehicle software distribution and secured functions. We do not present an independent diagnostic scan as a Rivian software update.
Follow the vehicle message and official guidance. If the warning affects safe operation, there is heat, smoke, smell, water exposure or battery-area impact, stop safely and arrange the correct assistance.
Internal battery work cannot be confirmed from the page. The warning, damage, safety state, available procedures and parts must be reviewed first. Rivian support or an appropriate EV specialist may be required.
Mechanical condition can be inspected, subject to safe lifting, available procedures and the vehicle state. Electronic-control, calibration or manufacturer-only steps are identified separately.
Send the model and a short description of the warning or symptom. We may request the VIN, warning photo, charge state or recent repair details later when they are needed for parts, diagnosis or safe transport.
Book a Rivian inspection
Call or message the model and main concern. We will confirm whether the first workshop check, a separately approved test or an official Rivian referral is the right next step. If the car cannot drive safely, discuss transport before moving it.
