Evidence before parts
A strong repair plan explains why the work is needed
A visible component or stored code should not become an automatic replacement. The workshop should connect the complaint to inspection, measurement or controlled testing. When several systems share power, communication, fluid or mechanical load, the first failed test may sit outside the component named on the screen.
Bring previous invoices, scan reports and the timeline of any recent battery, tyre, alignment, cooling or engine work. Replaced parts are part of the evidence. They do not prove that the original cause was fixed.
If the vehicle has non-standard wheels, suspension, intake, exhaust, electrical equipment or software, describe it during intake. The modification may not be responsible, but it can affect part specification, data interpretation and how the result should be checked.
