Uneven shoulder wear
Wear on one edge can follow incorrect alignment, pressure loss, bent steering parts, worn bushes, or regular hard cornering. We compare the pattern across the axle and check whether alignment should follow fitting.

Choose tires that match your Dodge model, wheel size, load, speed rating, and driving use. We inspect the current set, explain suitable choices, and provide a fitted estimate before installation.

Read the wear before buying
A worn tire may be the main problem, but steering, alignment, pressure, wheel damage, suspension movement, and previous tire choice can also shorten its life. The first inspection helps avoid fitting a new set without correcting the reason the old set failed.
Wear on one edge can follow incorrect alignment, pressure loss, bent steering parts, worn bushes, or regular hard cornering. We compare the pattern across the axle and check whether alignment should follow fitting.
Imbalance is common, but a distorted tire, flat spot, bent rim, hub issue, loose fitment, or suspension fault can feel similar. The wheel and tire assembly should be checked instead of assuming balancing will solve every vibration.
A sidewall bulge, exposed cord, deep cut, or separation is not a cosmetic defect. The vehicle should not be driven at speed. We can arrange pickup and assess the wheel for impact damage at the same time.
Air can escape through a puncture, valve, bead area, corrosion, cracked wheel, or damaged pressure sensor seal. A leak check identifies the source before a repair or replacement is approved.
Cupping and stepped wear may become more noticeable after tires change position. The noise does not always mean the newly rotated tire is faulty. Tread pattern, wheel bearings, alignment, and suspension condition may need review.
Dubai heat can age rubber before the tread reaches its legal limit. Sidewall condition, manufacture date, hardness, storage history, and grip behavior matter alongside measured depth.
Replace or recover the vehicle when a tire has exposed cords, a sidewall bulge, severe cracking, tread separation, or damage that cannot be safely repaired. A temporary spare is for limited use within its stated pressure and speed restrictions.
Match the car and the journey
Charger, Challenger, Durango, Ram, and Journey models can use very different sizes and performance ratings. The sidewall markings and vehicle label establish a starting point, while the fitted wheels, model variant, and intended use confirm the correct choice.
| Choice | Best suited to | What to compare | Buying note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Touring tire | Daily commuting, quieter cabins, predictable road use, and longer tread priorities | Wet braking, heat rating, comfort, tread life, and road noise | A sensible match for many Journey and Durango drivers when the required load rating is available |
| Performance tire | Charger and Challenger variants where steering response, grip, and speed capability matter | Correct speed rating, compound, temperature behavior, and axle consistency | Mixing very different patterns or grip levels across axles can change handling balance |
| SUV or load-focused tire | Durango and larger Dodge vehicles carrying passengers, luggage, or towing loads | Load index, reinforced construction, pressure requirement, stability, and heat control | A passenger-car tire with the same diameter may still have the wrong load capability |
| Premium original-equipment style | Owners who want behavior close to the vehicle’s original road setup | Manufacturer marking where applicable, exact size, approved rating, availability, and date | Brand alone does not confirm that a tire is the correct variant |
For staggered wheel setups, the front and rear sizes must stay in the intended relationship. On all-wheel-drive models, rolling circumference differences can matter. We confirm size, axle position, and available alternatives before ordering.
Estimated fitted costs
These market-based ranges include 5% VAT for the stated scope. Tire brand, size, speed rating, load rating, manufacture date, stock, wheel condition, and pressure-sensor work can change the total.
A written quote identifies the tire model and the number of tires, then separates alignment or wheel repair when it is needed. This prevents a low product-only price from being confused with the complete fitted cost.
Keep grip balanced
A single replacement may be reasonable when the opposite tire is nearly new, the same specification is available, and the tread difference remains acceptable. The remaining tire still needs condition and age checks.
Replacing an axle pair keeps tread pattern, construction, and grip consistent across that axle. The better remaining pair and vehicle layout influence placement, so the decision should not rely only on which axle currently looks worse.
A complete set is appropriate when all tires are worn or aged, when mixed specifications affect handling, or when rolling-circumference consistency matters. It also creates a clean baseline for rotation and alignment.

From inspection to handover
You only need to send the Dodge model, year, current tire size, and preferred visit or pickup details to begin. A sidewall photo is helpful but optional.
We check tread, age, damage, pressure, wheel condition, and the wear pattern.
Size, load, speed rating, axle layout, and suitable product choices are confirmed.
The written estimate states each tire, fitting, balancing, valves, VAT, and any separate work.
Wheels are handled carefully, tires are mounted, pressures set, and assemblies balanced.
Torque, pressure warnings, rotation, and alignment needs are reviewed before handover.
Same-day fitting may be available when the required specification is in stock and workshop capacity allows. Unusual sizes, manufacturer-marked products, and high-performance fitments may require ordering.
Removed tires are checked with you before disposal when their condition may help explain the wear problem. We also record the recommended cold pressures and any follow-up alignment, rotation, wheel, or suspension check so the new set starts with a clear maintenance baseline.
Useful budgeting scenarios
These are realistic planning scenarios, not records of completed customer work. The actual quote depends on the tire model available for the exact vehicle.
Typical job estimate
Four matched 245/45 R20 performance tires, new rubber valves, fitting, balancing, pressure reset, and final torque check.
AED 5,460 including VATTypical job estimate
Two load-rated SUV tires for one axle, fitting, balancing, valve service, and a four-wheel alignment after uneven shoulder wear.
AED 3,255 including VATTypical job estimate
One damaged tire replaced with a matching specification, wheel checked for impact damage, assembly balanced, and pressure system checked.
AED 1,365 including VATModel and use matter
We support Charger, Challenger, Durango, Journey, Neon, Ram, and other Dodge models in Dubai. Performance versions may need higher speed ratings, wide or staggered fitments, and closer attention to wheel condition. SUVs need the correct load capacity and stable pressure under passengers and luggage.
Modified wheels, spacers, nonstandard suspension height, and imported specifications require additional fitment checks. We can still start with the model and tire-size photo, then request more details only when they affect safety or ordering.
For broader mechanical work, visit our Dodge repair Dubai page. If tire wear follows pulling or steering movement, our Dodge steering repair service can inspect the related cause.

Questions before fitting
Standard fitted tires are estimated at AED 473–1,260 each, while premium or performance specifications can cost AED 945–2,310 each. The exact size, rating, tire model, manufacture date, and availability determine the total.
Our stated fitted ranges include mounting, a new standard rubber valve, balancing, pressure setting, and 5% VAT. Alignment, wheel repair, and pressure-sensor replacement are separate when needed and are shown in the written quote.
A repair may be suitable when the puncture is small, within the approved tread area, and the tire has not been driven flat or damaged internally. Sidewall, shoulder, large, repeated, or structural damage normally requires replacement.
Two tires may be enough when the other axle has serviceable, compatible tires. Four are better when all tires are aged or worn, specifications are mixed, or rolling-circumference consistency is important. We measure the set before advising.
Availability changes by size and exact product. We can check performance-rated options for Charger and Challenger models after receiving the year, variant, wheel size, and sidewall markings. A photo is the quickest way to avoid a size error.
Yes. The warning may follow low pressure, a leak, temperature change, sensor failure, valve damage, or a reset issue. We check the pressures and leak source before recommending a sensor or programming work.
Alignment is recommended when the old tires show uneven wear, the vehicle pulls, the steering wheel is off center, or suspension and steering work was completed. New tires alone do not correct an alignment fault.
Free pickup and delivery is available across Dubai. Tell us if the tire is flat, bulged, separated, or unable to hold pressure so the safest collection method can be arranged. Dedicated on-site inspection may also be available.
