A cooling-system leak, clutch fault or internal engine or transmission problem needs a separate repair estimate. Ask which component failed, which parts are proposed and whether removal, fluids, testing and setup are included. A low diagnostic fee is not a complete repair price.

Which problem is interrupting your driving?
Temperature rises or coolant disappears
Stop safely and switch off the engine if it overheats. Do not open the hot cooling system or keep driving to test it. Once safe, leak, fan and circulation checks help separate an external fault from engine damage.
The engine shakes or loses power
Ignition, fuel delivery, air leaks and mechanical condition can produce similar symptoms. A confirmed coil or connection repair is a different job from internal engine work. We explain which checks support the recommendation.
Drive is delayed or the clutch slips
Mounts, linkage, driveshafts, clutch operation and the transmission can each affect how drive feels. The fitted transmission and symptom determine the tests. A fluid change does not guarantee a cure for internal wear.
Braking or steering feels unsafe
Stop using the vehicle if control is uncertain. We inspect the relevant brakes, tires, joints or steering components before advising repairs. Do not try to solve a loose or damaged component with alignment alone.

A Rocky and a working Gran Max need different checks
Model names span different generations and markets. We match the service to the fitted engine and transmission, then consider how the vehicle is used. You do not need to identify those components before contacting us.
A family car used for short trips may need battery and service-history checks. A delivery van brings different cooling, brake, clutch and load concerns. Neither use pattern proves a part needs replacement without inspection.
If your Rocky is a hybrid, mention that when booking. Routine mechanical work and low-voltage testing are separate from charging or high-voltage repairs, which require capability confirmation.

Keep loading within the vehicle limits
Sagging suspension, tire wear or clutch slip should be checked against the vehicle’s condition and rated load. New springs or tires cannot make overloading safe.

How much is a Daihatsu minor service?

What does the free inspection include?
It covers a basic workshop condition and symptom review. Computer diagnosis is estimated at AED 150 to 300. Extended tests, dismantling and mobile visits are separate and need agreement.
Can you get parts for an imported Daihatsu?

Can I drive my Daihatsu if it overheats?

Why is the AC weak when my Gran Max is idling?
Condenser airflow, fan operation, refrigerant condition, compressor control and engine temperature may be involved. Testing separates those causes before a recharge or component replacement is recommended.
Does a delivery van need extra maintenance?
Use the schedule for the actual vehicle and its operating conditions. Repeated stops, idling and load can affect maintenance needs, but parts should not be replaced only because the van is used commercially.
Can you service a hybrid Rocky?
