Service schedule
Use the schedule applicable to the exact vehicle and market, then compare it with invoices and current condition. A missing record can justify a baseline inspection, but it does not prove that every fluid or component needs replacement at once.
Oil and cooling history
Bring dates, mileage, oil specification, coolant work and any record of leakage or overheating. If the vehicle behaves differently after long idling, highway use or a hot restart, include that pattern rather than simply reporting that Dubai is hot.
Transmission work
Record previous fluid service, software work, adaptation or mechanical repair. Describe engagement, shift and vibration behaviour before and after the last intervention. The next workshop should know whether a symptom is new, unchanged or altered.
Wheel and tyre record
Keep wheel repair, tyre replacement, balancing and alignment reports. Note tyre age, model, size and pressure. A previous impact or wheel repair can be relevant to vibration without proving that the wheel is the only cause.
Suspension and geometry
Preserve ride-height and alignment data where available. If springs, dampers, bushes, control arms or wheels were changed, record the exact parts. A future adjustment needs the current mechanical condition and intended specification.
Software and battery events
Note programming, control-module replacement, battery replacement, jump-starting and warnings that followed. Stable voltage and correct vehicle identification matter before software or module conclusions are drawn.
Parts documentation
Retain part numbers, supplier invoices and written warranty terms. Identify whether a component was genuine, OEM-equivalent, aftermarket, used or remanufactured and whether supporting seals, fluids, fasteners or calibration were included.
Handover evidence
Ask for the findings, approved work, parts used, measurements and verification result. If an intermittent symptom could not be reproduced, the handover should say so and explain what evidence to collect if it returns.
