What feels wrong after an accident?

After a collision, start with what changed: a loose bumper, uneven gaps, warning lights, fluid leaks or a car that no longer drives straight. A small-looking impact can damage mounts or sensors; a wheel strike can involve the tire, steering and suspension. Tell us what happened and we will help you plan the right inspection and repair.

The vehicle may be unsafe to drive

A wheel touching the body, leaking fluid, broken glass, an unsecured bumper, reduced steering, or a red warning requires caution. Driving can turn repairable damage into a larger mechanical or electrical problem.

Doors, bonnet, or boot no longer align

Uneven gaps, rubbing panels, difficult latches, wind noise, or water entry can indicate movement in hinges, catches, mounting points, or adjoining panels. The outer dent may be only one part of the issue.

Warning lights appeared after impact

Airbag, parking sensor, camera, lighting, tire-pressure, steering, or chassis messages need system-specific checks. Clearing a fault code does not prove the cause has been repaired.

The car pulls, vibrates, or sits unevenly

A curb or wheel impact can affect tires, wheels, arms, joints, steering parts, dampers, subframes, or geometry. Alignment should follow the mechanical inspection, not replace it.

Paint is cracked, scraped, or exposed

Surface scratches, deep paint damage, bare metal, and distorted panel edges require different preparation. Prompt protection can reduce corrosion risk, especially where the coating has broken.

Lamps, glass, cameras, or sensors are damaged

Replacement is not only a cosmetic fit. Part number, mounting, wiring, aiming, coding, and calibration may be relevant to the completed repair.

Choose work after inspection

What collision repair includes

We repair or replace damaged body panels, bumpers and paint, then address mechanical and electrical damage related to the impact. Your written quotation separates these items so you can see the parts, work and testing before approving the repair.

Body and panel repair

Dents, bumper covers, damaged mountings and misaligned panels can need reshaping, replacement or refinishing. Paint preparation and blending depend on the existing finish and the panels affected. For finish-only work, see our car painting service.

Mechanical and chassis checks

Wheel, tire, steering, suspension, braking, cooling, underbody, and geometry checks help identify damage caused by a direct strike or transmitted load.

Electrical and safety systems

Lamps, wiring, parking sensors, cameras and restraint warnings need checks that match the impact area. A fault code helps locate a concern but cannot, by itself, confirm which part to replace. See our computer diagnostics service for how warning and control-system faults are assessed.

Is the car safe to drive?

Send damage photos and warning messages. We can help you choose a workshop visit, pickup, or an on-site assessment.

Car accident repair prices in Dubai

Bumper repair and repaint is estimated at AED 620–1,525 while suitable dent or panel repair is estimated at AED 430–1,715 per panel. The ranges below are estimates before VAT for other common types of work; 5% VAT is not included in the displayed prices. They are not a quote for the whole collision. Hidden damage, paint blending, parts, mechanical work and sensor calibration can change the final total after inspection.

Bumper repair and repaint

AED 620–1,525

For repairable scrapes, cracks, dents, and finish damage. Brackets, sensors, trims, and reinforcement damage are assessed separately.

Dent or panel repair

AED 430–1,715

Per affected panel where reshaping is practical. Aluminum, sharp creases, double-skin areas, and damaged edges can change the method.

Panel replacement and paint

AED 1,430–4,285

Per panel as a planning range. Genuine, OEM-equivalent, aftermarket, or used parts have different availability and conditions.

Structural measurement or correction

AED 1,430–5,715+

Used when reference measurements or controlled correction are required. This does not include every panel, part, or electronic procedure.

Headlamp, trim, or sensor work

AED 525–3,335+

The exact component, mounting damage, coding, aiming, and calibration determine the complete installed cost.

Wheel and suspension damage

Quoted after inspection

A wheel strike can affect the tire, rim, arms, joints, steering and alignment. The estimate separates damaged parts and geometry checks once the car can be inspected safely.

Review the complete estimate

We itemise labour, parts condition, paint materials, outside services, exclusions and VAT. If hidden damage changes the cost, we explain it before you approve more work. Compare quotes using the same parts, paint and calibration requirements.

Damage behind the panel

Damage behind the panels

A bumper cover can return to shape while its brackets, absorber, reinforcement, sensor mounts, wiring, or adjacent metal remain damaged. A side impact can also affect door protection, hinges, latches, glass movement, seals, and alignment.

We begin with the impact location and what changed after the collision. Panel fit, mounting points, visible deformation, warning messages, wheel position, fluid condition, and nearby functions guide the inspection. Controlled dismantling may be needed when the full extent cannot be seen.

If access reveals related damage or a different part reference, we explain the finding and update the quotation before additional work begins.

Safe arrival comes first

How should the car reach us?

Stop and request advice if steering or braking is reduced, a wheel is displaced, a tire rubs the body, fluid is leaking, glass obstructs vision, a panel may detach, the vehicle overheats, or a red warning instructs you to stop. Do not stand beneath or close to an unstable vehicle at the roadside.

A light cosmetic scrape with normal steering, braking, wheel clearance, temperatures, and warnings may allow a planned workshop visit. Describe the condition before travel and reassess if anything changes.

Free pickup and delivery can be arranged across Dubai. A dedicated on-site inspection van is available when the vehicle location or condition makes a mobile assessment useful; any separate site-visit fee or transport condition is confirmed before dispatch.

Repair or replace

Repair or replace damaged parts?

Repair the original component

Repair may suit a serviceable bumper, panel, bracket, mounting point, harness section, or trim item when its material, shape, strength, and final test support that route. Retaining an original component can control cost and parts delay.

Replace when condition demands it

Replacement may be the clearer choice when damage is extensive, a safety-related part is compromised, a sealed unit cannot be repaired reliably, or a complete component offers a better condition and warranty basis.

Compare parts on equal terms

Genuine, OEM-equivalent, quality aftermarket, remanufactured, and used parts should be compared by exact application, condition, included hardware, availability, fitting work, and post-installation requirements.

The quotation should name which route is proposed and why. A lower part price is not necessarily a lower completed repair if extra preparation, missing hardware, incompatibility, coding, or repeat work is likely.

From assessment to handover

How we repair collision damage

01

Record the event

We note the vehicle, impact location, warning sequence, changes in driving behavior, and any earlier body or mechanical work.

02

Inspect and measure

Visible damage, panel fit, wheels, fluids, lamps, sensors, and relevant systems are checked. Dismantling is discussed when needed.

03

Review the estimate

The written scope separates labor, parts, paint materials, outside services, conditional items, exclusions, and approvals.

04

Repair and verify

Approved work is completed, related systems are checked, and the original complaint is reviewed before handover.

For body and paint work, we review the paint code, existing finish, panel position and blending decision. Where the collision affects glass, cameras, lamps or sensors, the final work may also include fit, function, aiming, coding or calibration checks. Your quotation should identify those procedures and any work that needs a separate specialist.

Checks before collection

AreaVerificationWhat the record should clarify
Body and finishPanel gaps, latches, seals, trim security, surface finish, color appearance, and visible defectsPanels repaired or replaced, paint scope, and any remaining cosmetic limitations
MechanicalWheel clearance, tire condition, steering, braking, suspension, fluid leaks, and geometry where relevantMeasurements, parts fitted, adjustments, and advisory findings
ElectricalLamps, windows, locks, parking aids, cameras, warnings, fault memory, and disturbed wiringCoding, calibration, aiming, or functions not included or unavailable
Road behaviorNoise, vibration, pulling, temperatures, warning behavior, and the original driver complaint when safe to reproduceFinal test conditions and any follow-up recommendation

The invoice should describe the work performed and parts fitted. If an advisory item remains, it should be separated from completed work. Photographs and measurements are especially useful where a later decision depends on hidden condition or where the vehicle has earlier accident repairs.

Car accident repair FAQs

How much does collision repair cost in Dubai?
Small bumper or panel repairs may begin in the hundreds of dirhams, while multi-panel, structural, mechanical, electronic, or luxury-vehicle repairs can cost several thousand. Use the price ranges above for planning. A reliable quote requires the vehicle identity, damage assessment, parts route, paint scope, access requirements, and final testing needs.
Is the workshop inspection free?
Yes. The initial visual inspection at our Al Quoz 4 workshop is free. If the vehicle needs dismantling, specialist measurement, external testing, or a dedicated on-site visit, that additional scope is explained before it begins.
Can you collect and return an accident-damaged car?
Yes, free pickup and delivery can be arranged across Dubai. Tell us if a wheel is locked or displaced, the steering does not center, ground clearance is reduced, fluids are leaking, or the vehicle is in restricted parking so the appropriate arrival plan can be discussed.
Is my car safe to drive after a collision?
Do not drive if braking or steering is reduced, a tire touches the body, a wheel appears displaced, fluid is leaking, a panel is loose, glass blocks vision, the engine overheats, or a red warning tells you to stop. Send photos and warning details or call the workshop before moving the car.
Should a damaged panel be repaired or replaced?
That depends on material, depth and location of deformation, edges and mounting points, corrosion, earlier repair, safety role, access, and whether the original shape and function can be restored and verified. We compare the smallest supported repair with the reliability of replacement before approval.
Can the new paint match the existing color?
The paint code is only the starting point. Existing finish, fading, panel orientation, preparation, application, and blending affect the final appearance. The quotation should identify which panels are refinished and whether adjoining-panel blending is included.
Do warning lights always mean a module needs replacement?
No. A warning can result from power supply, wiring, connectors, mounting movement, sensor alignment, communication faults, damaged components, or software state. Diagnosis should identify the affected system and supporting evidence before an expensive module is ordered.
What should I send before booking?
Send the make, model, year, registration card or VIN, location, photos from several angles, dashboard messages, whether the car starts, and any changes in steering, braking, temperature, noises, fluid loss, doors, glass, lamps, or wheel position. This helps us recommend a workshop visit, pickup, or on-site assessment.
How long does accident repair take?
The schedule depends on damage found after inspection, parts availability, paint preparation and curing, required system checks or calibration, and any insurer approval. We give you a repair plan and timing estimate after assessing the vehicle, then explain any change if dismantling reveals more work.
Can I use insurance for the collision repair?
Check the accident report, repairer choice, excess and approval process with your insurer before authorising work. We can prepare a damage-based estimate, but the insurer decides what the policy covers and whether this workshop is eligible for the claim.
Repair approval

Insurance claim or self-pay?

The repair estimate should show the same damage, parts choices and finishing work whichever payment route you use. Check your policy and speak to your insurer before authorising an insurance-funded repair.

Report the accident

For a Dubai road accident, follow the police reporting instructions and keep the accident report for your insurer. Dubai’s official guidance explains how to report a road accident. If anyone is hurt or the scene is unsafe, contact emergency services first.

Check claim conditions

Ask your insurer whether your policy permits this workshop, what excess applies, which parts and procedures it will fund, and when it will authorise repairs. An initial workshop estimate is not an insurer’s approval. If dismantling reveals more damage, confirm how supplementary work will be reviewed.

Compare a self-pay repair

If you plan to pay directly, compare the complete written estimate with any claim excess and policy conditions. Check whether the quote includes panel preparation, paint blending, fittings, mechanical work, calibration, VAT and the final inspection. We explain any conditional work before you approve it.

Request an accident repair estimate

Send the vehicle model, damage photos, location and warning messages. If you plan to claim, include your insurer’s repair instructions.
