When driving is unsafe Stop safely for overheating, an oil-pressure warning, fuel leaks, or loss of braking or steering control. Call to discuss recovery. Never open a hot coolant cap.

Start with what the vehicle is doing

What Is Wrong With Your EXEED?

A warning light is unsettling, especially when the car still seems to drive normally. But one dashboard message is not a diagnosis. A weak battery, damaged wire or mechanical fault can trigger several alerts. We start with what changed, then connect your symptoms with scan readings and physical checks.

You don’t need to arrive knowing the failed part. Tell us the model and what it’s doing. Our independent EXEED workshop in Al Quoz 4 handles scheduled servicing and assesses engine, gearbox, AC, brake and electrical concerns. The initial inspection is free; any paid diagnosis is agreed separately. The concerns below are reasons to investigate, not a list of defects every EXEED will develop.

EXEED engine warning or loss of power

The engine light comes on as you accelerate. It’s tempting to blame the turbo, but an intake leak or ignition fault can feel similar. We compare stored fault codes, freeze-frame data and live readings before choosing the next test.

Freeze-frame data records operating conditions when a fault was stored. Depending on those findings, checks may cover spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel pressure, boost hoses or compression. Replacing the named sensor is not always the answer.

EXEED gearbox jerking or delayed drive

A pause when selecting drive can make every junction uncomfortable. Does it happen cold, after a long drive, or only while creeping? That detail helps separate engine hesitation, worn mounts and transmission behavior.

A dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and a conventional automatic need different checks and fluids. We identify the fitted unit before reviewing leaks, control-module data, clutch operation where relevant, and internal wear. Active slipping needs prompt attention.

EXEED coolant leaks and overheating

Another coolant top-up? Find out where it’s going. Hoses, the expansion tank, radiator, water pump and thermostat housing can all need inspection. A pressure test helps trace a leak; temperature readings and fan checks help explain overheating.

Repeated top-ups are not a repair. Stop safely if the engine overheats, and never open the coolant cap while the system is hot.

EXEED AC warm in Dubai traffic

The AC cools on an open road, then blows warm air at the next light. That pattern matters. We check condenser airflow, cooling-fan operation and refrigerant pressure alongside compressor control and vent temperature.

A recharge may restore the specified refrigerant charge, but it won’t repair a leak. The right first purchase is a diagnosis of why cooling changed.

EXEED camera and radar warnings

A driver-assistance alert after windshield or bumper work doesn’t automatically mean a failed sensor. Mounting position, wiring, alignment and calibration may need checking first.

ADAS means advanced driver-assistance systems. Calibration requirements depend on the fitted system and the work performed. Don’t rely on an assistance feature that is reporting a fault.

EXEED battery drain and multiple alerts

Several warnings after a slow start can look like several expensive failures. Sometimes they share one low-voltage supply problem. Sometimes they don’t. A battery test is the starting point, not permission to dismiss every warning.

We check connections and charging behavior, then investigate parasitic draw if the battery loses charge while parked. That means measuring an unwanted electrical load after systems should have gone to sleep.

EXEED symptoms and the next step
What you noticePossible causeUrgency and next step
High temperature or rapid coolant lossLeak, restricted flow or cooling-fan faultStop safely, switch off and arrange recovery. Do not open a hot coolant cap.
Rough running with a flashing engine lightActive misfire or another serious running faultStop driving and request advice on safe transport.
Several warnings after a difficult startLow voltage, a connection fault or another shared causeArrange battery and system checks. Follow the actual warning message, not its color alone.
Warm AC but normal engine temperatureAirflow, refrigerant, compressor-control or sensor issueBook a cooling-performance check. A recharge alone will not fix a leak.

A useful detail. Does the fault appear after ten minutes in traffic or immediately from cold? That detail can be more useful than guessing the failed part.

Repair and maintenance options

EXEED Repair and Maintenance Services in Dubai

Need an EXEED oil service, a brake repair, or help with a fault nobody has explained? Start with that. We can plan routine maintenance or a focused investigation, then discuss related work if inspection shows it’s needed. You don’t have to book a major service just because a warning appeared.

Diagnostics and electrical repair

Warning lights need more than code clearing. Our computer diagnostics service connects module scans with battery, wiring, sensor and mechanical checks. Additional fault tracing is agreed when the first tests do not isolate the cause.

EXEED engine and cooling repair

Oil on the driveway, a rough idle and coolant loss need different investigations. We assess oil leaks, ignition, fuel delivery, turbo boost and engine cooling, then narrow the work to the confirmed fault.

A leaking hose may need a localized repair. Internal engine work needs stronger findings, such as relevant mechanical test results, before dismantling is proposed.

EXEED transmission and AWD repair

A vibration under load isn’t automatically a gearbox failure. Mounts, driveshafts, joints and wheels can change how the car feels. For all-wheel drive (AWD) models, the installed driveline also affects the checks.

We assess shift quality, leaks and operating data before discussing transmission repair, rebuilding or replacement.

EXEED AC and climate-control repair

Warm air and weak airflow aren’t the same fault. A blower or flap actuator affects air delivery; refrigerant, airflow across the condenser and compressor control affect cooling.

The inspection follows your complaint. That may mean leak detection, electrical testing or pressure measurements rather than another gas refill.

EXEED brakes, steering and suspension

Grinding brakes deserve a direct inspection, not another checklist of obvious signs. We measure pads and discs, inspect calipers, and check the source of pulling or vibration.

For suspension noise, we look for play, damaged mounts and leaking shocks. Tire wear and wheel condition can help explain the concern before alignment or replacement is recommended.

EXEED oil change and scheduled service

Choose the work your car is due, not the longest package list. Engine oil, oil filter, air filter and cabin filter requirements depend on the fitted engine, history and schedule.

Spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant and transmission servicing are added when applicable. A service reminder reset doesn’t mean every maintenance item was completed.

Before choosing a package. A warning light calls for diagnosis. A scheduled service covers maintenance. You may need both, but they should be explained separately.

Plan the likely cost

EXEED Repair Prices in Dubai

How much will it cost? These planning ranges give you a starting budget. They aren’t fixed offers or a diagnosis over the phone. Parts quality, access, fluid specification and the actual fault change the total. Compare the same repair scope, then approve the written quote before work starts.

Computer diagnosis

AED 250 to 600

Paid computer diagnosis for one defined warning or drivability concern, including a scan and agreed guided checks. This is separate from the free initial workshop inspection. Parts, dismantling and extended tracing are not included unless listed in the quote.

Minor service

AED 500 to 950

Typical engine oil and filter service with a basic inspection. Oil capacity, approved grade, filter source, and additional due items affect the complete price.

Major service

AED 1,200 to 2,500

A broader maintenance visit with filters, plugs, or selected fluids where due. Service history and the exact schedule determine the included items.

Front brake repair

AED 900 to 2,500

Planning range for pads or pads and discs, including fitting and checks. Brake size, electronic features, parts brand, and measured condition change the total.

AC diagnosis and repair

AED 350 to 3,200

A leak, control issue, or sensor repair is lower than compressor or condenser replacement. Pressure and electrical tests identify the appropriate work.

ADAS calibration check

AED 450 to 1,500

Estimate for inspection and calibration-related work after relevant glass, bumper, suspension, or alignment changes. Replacement hardware is quoted separately.

Not sure which price applies?

Send your EXEED model and the main symptom. We can recommend the first inspection and arrange free pickup and delivery.

Get an EXEED estimate

Free workshop inspection and free pickup and delivery are available. Dedicated on-site inspections are available with a van as a separate paid service. The mobile fee and inspection scope are explained before booking. Don’t treat these ranges as final VAT-inclusive prices. Check the written quote for VAT, any outside-service fees and the final payable total before approving work.

Compare complete costs. Ask whether the amount includes parts, fitting, fluids and required testing. Two identical-looking prices can describe very different jobs.

Spend where it solves the problem

Should You Repair or Replace an EXEED Component?

A complete assembly isn’t always the sensible first purchase. If a hose leaks but the turbo tests correctly, replacing the turbo would miss the point. On the other hand, repeated patch repairs can cost more than a suitable replacement when damage is extensive. We compare condition, total cost and likely downtime, not just the cheapest part.

Repair the part that actually failed

A damaged connector, leaking hose, worn mount or individual suspension joint may be repairable without replacing the surrounding assembly. The rest of the system still needs checking.

Ask what the repair fixes and what it leaves in place. A smaller bill is useful when the proposed work addresses the cause.

Consider a rebuild when it adds value

Rebuilding can make sense for a suitable mechanical assembly when internal parts and reliable testing are available. It isn’t a universal option for every EXEED component.

Compare the internal work, testing and written terms with a replacement quote. “Rebuilt” alone doesn’t tell you what was renewed.

Replace when repair is a poor bet

Extensive damage, an unserviceable unit or uncertain repair durability may favor replacement. The quote should distinguish new genuine, aftermarket, remanufactured and used parts.

Price the complete job, including fitting and required coding or calibration. A cheaper used module can become an expensive choice if it cannot be matched to the vehicle.

Hardware and software must match

EXEED parts can differ by model, powertrain, drivetrain, production version, connector, calibration, and fitted equipment. For a specific component, we confirm the VIN and compare the installed part details before ordering. Electronic modules, cameras, radar units, and selected driveline components may also require coding, initialization, or calibration after installation.

A practical rule. A fault code points toward an investigation. It is not a shopping list.

Understand a complete repair scope

Three Typical EXEED Job Estimates

These three planning scenarios are typical job estimates, not completed customer repairs. Each range covers the stated diagnosis, parts, fitting and final checks. Additional faults, recovery, programming and work outside the described scope are separate. VAT treatment and any parts or labor warranty must be stated in the written quote before approval.

Typical job estimate 1

2022 EXEED TXL cooling leak

Problem: Coolant smell after parking and a gradually falling expansion-tank level.

Work: Pressure-test the system, inspect hoses, tank, cap, pump, radiator, thermostat area, and fan operation, then replace a confirmed leaking hose assembly.

Parts: New compatible hose assembly, clamps where required, and correct coolant. No radiator or internal engine repair included.

Total: AED 950 to 1,650 depending on part source.

Final checks: Repeat pressure test, warm-up cycle, fan check, road test, and coolant-level check after cooling.

Typical job estimate 2

2023 EXEED VX front brake repair

Problem: Brake vibration with low front pad material and visible disc wear.

Work: Measure the pads and discs, inspect caliper movement and hoses, replace front pads and discs when outside service limits, clean mounting surfaces, and service sliding points.

Parts: New quality pads and discs matched to the installed brake size. Calipers remain serviceable in this estimate.

Total: AED 1,600 to 2,450 depending on brake specification and parts brand.

Final checks: Pedal, leak, wheel-torque, and road-test checks, followed by bedding guidance.

Typical job estimate 3

2022 EXEED LX engine warning

Problem: Intermittent reduced power and an engine warning under acceleration.

Work: Scan modules, review freeze-frame and live data, test intake and boost sealing, inspect wiring and connectors, and repair a confirmed boost hose or connection fault.

Parts: New compatible hose or connector parts where required. Turbocharger replacement is not included.

Total: AED 750 to 1,650 depending on the confirmed leak and parts.

Final checks: Road test under the original load condition, live-data review, leak recheck, and final scan.

Read the estimate closely. The three scenarios above assume a specific fault. None is a promise that the same symptom on your car will have the same cause.

Your model matters

EXEED RX, TXL, VX and LX Service Differences

The badge gets the conversation started. The installed engine, gearbox and equipment decide the repair. Model years and market versions can differ, so we check the vehicle details when ordering parts or choosing a procedure. You can book first and provide the VIN later if it’s needed.

EXEED RX

Engine, transmission, cooling, AC, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, cameras, radar, and maintenance. Electrified versions need the correct low-voltage and high-voltage fault separation.

EXEED TXL

A TXL badge alone does not identify the gearbox or engine specification. We match transmission checks, oil requirements and turbo-related diagnosis to the installed version. Cooling, AC, suspension and brake concerns are assessed from the symptom and measured condition.

EXEED VX

The current UAE VX page lists a 2.0T engine and eight-speed automatic. That doesn’t identify every older or imported VX. Brake size, drivetrain and installed equipment still need checking.

For a heavy family SUV, vibration may involve brakes, tires or suspension as well as the driveline. Describe when you feel it: braking, cruising or accelerating.

EXEED LX

EXEED UAE describes an LX version with a 1.6TGDI engine and seven-speed DCT. Other trims are listed too. Confirm the actual version before choosing transmission fluid or applying that specification to an older car.

Tell us whether hesitation starts cold or only after traffic. That detail helps focus engine, mount and gearbox checks without jumping to clutch replacement.

Keep the useful evidence. A photo of the warning or a short recording made safely can help describe an intermittent concern. Do not use your phone while driving.

What happens after you call

How Your EXEED Repair Is Managed

1. Tell us the main problem

Share the model and symptom. Mention any red warning, overheating, smoke, fuel smell, unsafe brake feel, steering change, or severe transmission slipping that may make driving unsafe.

2. Arrange the inspection

Bring the EXEED to Al Quoz 4 or request free pickup and delivery. A dedicated on-site inspection can be booked separately when mobile assessment is the suitable first step.

3. Test the affected systems

We confirm the complaint, inspect relevant components, scan modules, and use focused mechanical or electrical tests. Additional dismantling is discussed before it begins.

4. Review the written estimate

The estimate identifies the recommended repair, parts choice, labor, fluids, programming or calibration where applicable, and any outside services. Urgent and optional work are separated.

5. Complete approved work

Repair begins after approval. If a different condition is found during dismantling, work pauses while the finding and revised cost are explained.

6. Verify and hand over

Final checks may include a road test, pressure test, leak inspection, module rescan, voltage and temperature readings, adaptations, calibration status, or a cold-start check.

Before collection. Tell us whether the vehicle starts, rolls, steers and brakes. Collection and recovery are not the same transport job.

Protect the vehicle

When Your EXEED Is Unsafe to Drive

Stop safely and arrange recovery if a red oil-pressure warning appears, the engine overheats, coolant is pouring out, the brake pedal feels unsafe, steering changes suddenly, the gearbox is actively slipping, the engine knocks heavily, or you notice smoke or a strong fuel smell. Continuing may increase damage and create a safety risk.

A steady amber warning with normal temperature, braking, steering, and vehicle behavior may allow a short and careful trip, but the right decision depends on the exact message and symptoms. Call before driving if you are unsure. Do not disconnect the battery or clear fault codes simply to hide a warning because stored data can help identify an intermittent problem.

Free pickup and delivery can be arranged. A vehicle that does not start, roll, steer, or brake safely may need recovery transport instead of standard collection. Tell us the symptom and location so the appropriate transport option can be discussed.

When to pause. Do not keep driving to see whether overheating clears itself. Stop safely and arrange help.

Avoid paying for the wrong work

Check EXEED Coverage and Parts Before Repair

Check your existing cover first

If your EXEED has a manufacturer warranty, service contract or roadside plan, review the documents before authorizing paid repairs. A covered defect or campaign may belong with the supplying dealer. Coverage depends on your vehicle and contract, so we do not promise that independent work preserves every policy.

EXEED UAE explains that manufacturer coverage varies by model. We remain an independent workshop and do not process manufacturer warranty claims as an authorized dealer.

Know which part you’re paying for

The quote should identify whether a part is genuine, aftermarket, remanufactured or used. A lower price is only useful when the component fits, performs the required function and has clear terms. Shared manufacturer ownership does not make every Chery or EXEED part interchangeable.

Filters and wear items may be easier to source than a camera, control unit or body component. Availability and any required coding affect the completion date. Do not order a module by appearance alone or assume a software update will cure mechanical wear.

Parts advice. A similar connector is not proof of compatibility. The part number, vehicle specification and coding requirements matter.

Plan the next service

EXEED Maintenance That Matches Your Vehicle

Don’t buy maintenance you aren’t due

Choose maintenance from the vehicle handbook, time since service, mileage and previous invoices. Do not assign one oil grade or replacement interval to every RX, TXL, VX and LX. Oil approval and capacity matter alongside viscosity. An overdue filter or fluid does not automatically justify a complete major-service package.

Tell us about long idling, dusty journeys, repeated short trips or storage. These details help identify checks that are useful for your driving. Replace filters based on the applicable schedule and condition, and investigate repeated fluid loss instead of treating top-ups as maintenance.

What can you check yourself?

You can record the warning message, note when a noise occurs and review the service history. Check tire pressures against the vehicle label when safe. Avoid disconnecting the battery to hide faults, opening a hot cooling system or working beneath an unsupported vehicle.

For a hybrid or electric EXEED, never touch orange high-voltage cables or damaged battery components. A 12-volt fault and a traction-battery fault are different problems. EXEED ES and ET versions require identification of the powertrain before maintenance is planned. High-voltage repairs and manufacturer software access require the appropriate specialist route.

Keep your service record. Save the invoice and oil or fluid specification. It makes the next maintenance decision easier.

A visit with clear decisions

What to Expect From Your EXEED Workshop Visit

What actually needs fixing?

The repair discussion separates the cause of your complaint from unrelated wear. Ask which finding supports the recommendation and whether any work can wait. A stored fault code alone should not become a replacement order.

What am I paying for?

Review parts, labor, fluids, extra testing and the final payable amount. Ordered parts, external calibration and dismantling should be identified before they create additional cost. Any repair warranty belongs to the specific written quote, not a blanket promise on this page.

What changed after the repair?

At handover, review the work completed, relevant checks and remaining maintenance. An intermittent concern may need monitoring if it could not be reproduced. Keep the invoice and part details with the service history so the next visit starts with useful information.

EXEED Repair FAQs

Do you repair EXEED RX, TXL, VX, and LX models?

Yes. We can inspect and repair common EXEED models, subject to the fault, parts availability, and required programming or calibration access. The model and a short description are enough to start.

How much does EXEED repair cost in Dubai?

Paid computer diagnosis is estimated at AED 250 to 600, minor service at AED 500 to 950, and major service at AED 1,200 to 2,500. These are planning ranges. Your written estimate reflects the exact vehicle, fault, labor, parts, fluids, and electronic requirements.

Is EXEED inspection free?

The initial workshop inspection is free. Computer diagnosis is a separate paid service, with planning prices of AED 250 to 600 for the stated scope. Extended tracing, pressure testing, dismantling, calibration or programming can cost more and requires an agreed scope first. The dedicated on-site inspection van is a separate paid service.

Can you collect and return my EXEED?

Yes. Free pickup and delivery are available. Tell us whether the vehicle starts and whether it rolls, steers, and brakes safely. An unsafe or disabled vehicle may require recovery transport.

Can you diagnose several warning lights together?

Yes. Several warnings can share a cause such as low voltage, network communication, damaged wiring, or one primary system fault. We scan all relevant modules and compare the timing of the codes before recommending parts.

Do cameras or radar need calibration after repairs?

Calibration may be required after relevant windshield, bumper, alignment, steering, suspension, sensor, or control-unit work. The exact need depends on the fitted equipment and repair performed.

Can routine EXEED service be completed the same day?

Many routine services and smaller repairs may be completed the same day when workshop capacity and parts availability allow. Diagnosis, ordered parts, internal repairs, programming, and calibration can require more time.

Should I replace the gearbox if my EXEED jerks?

Not without diagnosis. Misfires, worn mounts, voltage problems and transmission faults can feel similar. The fitted gearbox, driving conditions, scan findings and physical checks determine whether adjustment, localized repair or internal work is justified.

Do you use the same oil and service interval for every EXEED?

No. The fitted engine, model year and manufacturer schedule determine oil approval, capacity and service timing. Bring the service history if available. A dashboard reminder does not by itself identify every item due.

Are you an authorized EXEED dealer?

No. We are an independent multi-brand repair workshop in Al Quoz 4. We do not claim EXEED authorization. Our independent position allows us to compare suitable repair and parts options outside an agency network.
