Protect the new bond
Follow the technician’s safe-drive time. Do not assume every adhesive or weather condition has the same curing period. Keep any retention tape in place for the advised time and avoid pushing on the glass or pulling at fresh moldings.
For the first day, avoid harsh pressure washing around the glass edges. Close doors gently and, when advised, leave a small window opening so cabin pressure does not disturb the fresh bond. Normal rain is different from directing a high-pressure jet at the new seal.
Report new wind noise, water entry, loose trim, sensor warnings or unusual camera behavior promptly. Do not apply sealant over the outside edge as a home fix. It can hide the leak path and make a correct diagnosis harder.
