Citroën service and repair prices
These AED estimates cover the work described, not every fault in that system. The engine, fitted equipment, part choice and access can change the price. VAT treatment is confirmed in your written quote; ask for the total payable including VAT before approval.
Minor engine service
AED 550 to 900Specified engine oil, oil filter, labor, condition checks and supported service reset. Other filters, plugs and repairs are extra.
Major scheduled service
AED 1,100 to 2,100Oil service plus the filters, plugs and checks due for your engine. The quote lists each included item. Timing work and fault repair are separate.
Front brake pads
AED 650 to 1,250 per axleMatching pad set, installation and brake inspection. Discs, extra sensors, calipers and hydraulic repairs are excluded.
Low-voltage battery replacement
AED 500 to 1,050Compatible battery, fitting and charging checks. Confirm any required setup in the quote. This does not cover a hybrid or EV traction battery.
AC diagnostic assessment
AED 250 to 450Cooling performance, airflow, fan and pressure checks as appropriate. Refrigerant service, leak repairs and failed components cost extra.
Cooling leaks, engine damage, gearbox repairs and suspension work need a vehicle-specific repair quote. It should identify the failed component, parts option, labor, fluids and any setup or testing. The diagnostic price above does not buy those repairs.

Why has the ride or steering changed?
A new knock or vibration does not automatically mean the entire suspension needs replacing. Where you feel it helps us select the first checks.
A knock over bumps
Worn joints, bushings, mounts or dampers can cause similar sounds. We check for looseness and damage before recommending the affected component. Alignment follows any necessary mechanical repair.
Vibration when braking
Brake condition, wheel and tire issues can overlap. Pads alone may be suitable if the discs remain within their service limits and the calipers work correctly. Worn or damaged discs need a different quote.
A harsh or uneven ride
Tire pressures and specification come first, followed by the fitted suspension. Citroën’s Advanced Comfort guidance describes hydraulic cushions on certain applications, not every Citroën.
Engine, cooling and gearbox concerns
Rough running or oil use
We compare the symptom with oil condition, ignition, fuel, air supply and mechanical checks. A targeted external repair can be enough; internal engine work needs a confirmed reason.
Some earlier PureTech engines need particular attention to timing-belt condition and oil-system maintenance. The Stellantis PureTech notice concerns previous-generation 1.0 and 1.2 engines. It does not mean every Citroën has the same timing system or that European support applies in the UAE.
Coolant loss or rising temperature
If the engine overheats, stop safely and switch it off. Do not open a hot cooling system or keep restarting the engine to reach the garage. Arrange suitable recovery.
Once cool and safe to inspect, leak, pressure, fan and circulation checks help distinguish a hose or radiator fault from internal damage. Repeatedly topping up coolant is not a repair.
Delayed drive or harsh shifts
A gearbox complaint can involve fluid, controls, a mount or internal wear. The correct first step depends on when the symptom appears. A fluid service cannot promise to cure damaged internal parts.

An imported diesel warning
A diesel particulate filter, or DPF, captures exhaust soot. AdBlue is an emissions fluid on equipped vehicles. Neither a DPF message nor an AdBlue warning proves that a complete assembly needs replacing.

Warnings, starting trouble and weak AC
A scan code is a starting point
Low battery voltage or a poor connection can trigger several warnings. We check the relevant supply, wiring and component operation before recommending modules. If the fault is intermittent, further testing is agreed separately.

Warm air needs more than a gas top-up
Weak airflow, poor cooling at idle and uneven temperatures have different causes. Fan, filter, refrigerant-leak and control checks help decide whether the car needs a limited repair or a larger component. Explore AC repair options.
The right work for your Citroën
C3 Aircross, C4, C4 X, C5 Aircross, Berlingo and SpaceTourer owners may need different service items and parts. Start with your model and concern. We’ll request the year, vehicle identification number (VIN) or service history when needed.
Service the engine you have
Use the applicable schedule and fluid specification. Oil viscosity alone does not identify the correct product. Timing parts, spark plugs and diesel-emissions items are included only when they apply and are due.
Older cars and imports
A previous engine replacement, suspension change or repaired wiring can alter what is fitted. Parts are checked against the actual vehicle before ordering. Shared PSA or Stellantis origins do not make every Peugeot or Citroën part interchangeable.
Electric and hybrid models
Ordinary mechanical and low-voltage work is separate from traction-battery, charging and energized high-voltage repairs. Tell us the exact concern so we can confirm capability before accepting specialist work. Manufacturer warranty or restricted software work may need manufacturer support.

A confirmed external leak, worn joint or damaged connection may be repairable without replacing a larger assembly. Check the surrounding parts and repeat the original test so the same complaint is not left unresolved.
Compare major repair options
For internal engine or transmission damage, compare a rebuild with a suitable replacement. Ask about condition, parts availability, setup, installed cost and written warranty terms. Approve exploratory dismantling separately.
Choose parts with clear terms
New original, suitable aftermarket, remanufactured and used parts differ in price and suitability. Electronic parts may need coding, meaning setup for the vehicle. Confirm compatibility and return terms before buying your own part.

Does every PureTech engine use the same timing system?
No. The exact engine and service information determine whether a belt or chain applies and what checks are due. A notice about an earlier engine family should not be applied to every Citroën.
Can you work on an imported diesel or hybrid?
Ask about the specific vehicle and concern before booking. Diesel emissions equipment and parts vary by market. Charging and high-voltage work require separate capability confirmation.
Why does my Citroën ride differently after tire work?
