Focused warning-light diagnosis
AED 240 to 525A scan plus targeted checks for one warning or related system. Parts, repair labour and extended testing are separate.
Independent vehicle assessment in Al Quoz
Zotye servicing and repairs in Al Quoz 4, Dubai, for petrol SUVs and cars. We inspect warning lights, cooling, brakes, suspension, AC and transmission concerns, then quote the work before it starts. See indicative prices below. Tell us your model and what the car is doing; we can ask for the VIN later if parts matching requires it.

The direct answer
Tell us the model and the problem you have noticed. At the workshop, the free first check is a discussion and initial look at the car. If the cause needs a computer scan, road test, measurements or dismantling, we explain the paid test and its price before starting. A fault code points toward a check; it does not prove that the named part has failed.
Zotye vehicles in the UAE include petrol models and the E200 electric city car. Production year, engine, gearbox, software, connector, brake size and fitted equipment can differ even when two vehicles share a badge. That is why a quote based only on “T600” or “T700” can be incomplete. The VIN, registration card, dashboard photo, current part label and previous invoices give the workshop a stronger starting point.
A routine oil service has a different price and purpose from diagnosing oil consumption. An AC recharge will not repair a leak, and wheel alignment will not correct a loose joint. We explain which work addresses your complaint and quote any additional work separately.
Auto Repair UAE is an independent workshop. Manufacturer warranty decisions, recalls and restricted programming may need an authorised provider. The workshop confirms this before dismantling or promising a result.
Plan the likely cost
These are Auto Repair UAE’s published planning ranges for defined work on common petrol vehicles. They are not a fixed quote for every Zotye: model, fitted parts, access and supplier availability can change the total. E200 electric-drive and high-voltage work is not covered by these petrol-vehicle ranges. Prices shown exclude 5% VAT. The written quote adds VAT and states the final payable amount.
A scan plus targeted checks for one warning or related system. Parts, repair labour and extended testing are separate.
Correct-grade oil, filter and standard checks for a compatible petrol vehicle. Oil quantity, filter and additional due items affect your Zotye quote.
Standard road-car pads and installation for one axle. Discs, sensors, caliper repair and model-specific parts are separate.
One confirmed, accessible hose, seal or cooling-component repair. Radiator, water pump, internal leaks or overheating damage need a separate quote.
One defined conventional bushing, arm, link, hub or damper repair. Parts quantity, alignment and additional faults change the total.
Testing and a fitted conventional battery for a compatible small or midsize petrol car. Different battery types, registration and charging repairs are separate.
A basic computer scan is estimated at AED 145 to 285 before VAT when supported; it is less extensive than fault diagnosis. The free first workshop check covers a discussion and initial look, not the scan or detailed testing. Engine, internal transmission, programming and imported-part work is quoted after the required checks and parts match.
Tell us the model and main symptom. We will advise whether a free first workshop check or a paid test is the right next step, and quote any paid work before it begins. Free pickup and delivery are available by arrangement; a dedicated on-site inspection can also be discussed.
Complaint-led diagnosis
One driver may describe a loss of power while another reports a warning, a noise or a car that will not move. The wording and conditions help separate possible causes before parts are discussed.
Cold and hot starting behaviour, cranking speed, battery voltage, charging output, stored faults, fuel delivery, ignition and basic mechanical condition may need to be separated. Replacing a battery does not correct a charging fault, poor connection or engine-management problem.
Coolant level, visible leakage, pressure retention, fan control, airflow, thermostat behaviour, circulation and evidence of combustion leakage can point to different repair paths. Continuing to drive an overheating engine can widen the damage.
The test records whether the change happens cold, hot, under load, during a particular shift or after a warning. Fluid condition, leakage, voltage, fault data, adaptation information and mechanical movement are considered together.
Tyre pressure and damage, wheel condition, joints, bushes, links, dampers, springs, mounts and steering play can produce related complaints. Recent kerb or pothole contact changes the inspection.
Vent temperature, blower operation, cabin filter, compressor request, pressure behaviour, condenser airflow, leakage and control faults help decide whether the concern is electrical, mechanical or refrigerant related.
Low voltage, poor terminals, charging faults, wiring, grounds, sensors, communication faults and software state can create several warnings at once. Battery support and measured voltage come before blaming multiple control modules.
Drive or arrange transport
A booking call should establish whether the car can be driven without increasing the risk. The answer depends on what the driver can see, hear and control, not simply whether the engine still starts.
Stop and call for advice if the engine is overheating, oil-pressure warning remains on, fuel or a major fluid leak is visible, smoke is present, braking or steering control is reduced, the vehicle sits abnormally low, a wheel is damaged or the E200 displays a serious electric-drive warning. Keep people away from visible damaged high-voltage components and do not attempt an improvised electrical repair.
A minor warning with normal temperature, braking, steering and vehicle response may allow a planned inspection, but the workshop should still hear the exact message first. If the condition changes during the journey, stop safely and reassess.
What we check
| System | Common driver complaint | Useful first checks | What the check can show |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engine management | Rough running, loss of power, poor starting, warning light | Voltage, scan data, air and fuel checks, ignition evidence, leaks and mechanical condition | A code is not treated as a confirmed failed part |
| Cooling | Temperature rise, coolant loss, fan concern, heater change | Pressure, visible leaks, airflow, fan control, thermostat and circulation evidence | Repeated top-ups do not replace leak diagnosis |
| Transmission and driveline | Harsh shift, delay, slip, vibration, fluid leak | Road conditions, mounts, fluid evidence, faults, control and mechanical checks | Fluid service is not promised as a cure for internal damage |
| Brakes and steering | Noise, vibration, pull, heavy steering, warning | Tyres, friction material, discs, fluid, joints, rack, assistance and alignment condition | Safety defects are explained before cosmetic or comfort work |
| Suspension | Knock, bounce, uneven height, tyre wear | Tyres, wheels, bushes, links, ball joints, dampers, springs, mounts and geometry | Alignment follows repair of meaningful looseness or damage |
| AC and cabin electrical | Poor cooling, airflow change, intermittent feature | Power, controls, blower, pressures, leaks, sensors, wiring and communication | Refrigerant quantity and electrical faults are kept separate |
When the failed system is still unclear, a structured vehicle inspection and diagnostic visit can combine scan information with the physical checks needed to reproduce the complaint. A transmission concern can move into a separate transmission diagnosis and repair scope once the source is narrowed.
Model context
Zotye enquiries in Dubai commonly use the names T300, T600, T700, Z300 and E200. Those names help route the booking, but they do not settle parts fitment or the correct service specification.
Confirm year, engine, transmission, market specification, wheel and brake information before ordering.
Engine, forced-induction hardware, transmission, cooling and fitted electronics can change the test and parts route.
Service history, previous parts, corrosion, wiring repairs and long-term storage may matter as much as mileage.
Separate 12-volt supply faults from charging, traction battery, inverter and electric-drive concerns before work is accepted.
Photographs of the VIN plate, registration card, dashboard, existing component label and connector can reduce catalogue guesswork. If a part has already been removed, keep the old item and its packaging. Dimensions and plug shape help, but they do not replace a verified number and vehicle application.
Parts without guesswork
Parts availability can shape the repair, especially for a model or specification that is less common in the UAE. The safe response is not to promise that every item is on the shelf. It is to identify the component accurately, compare the available routes and explain what remains uncertain before money is committed.
The quote should name the part number where available, manufacturer or supplier, condition, included hardware, lead-time basis and any programming, calibration or fluid needed after installation. “Genuine,” “OEM” and “aftermarket” should not be used as interchangeable quality labels. Ask what will arrive and how fitment will be verified.
A used body panel, trim item or selected mechanical assembly creates a different decision from a brake, restraint, high-voltage or electronic security component. Condition, provenance, wear, coding and safety relevance decide whether a used route is sensible. If reliable fitment or support cannot be established, the workshop should say so before dismantling the vehicle.
Maintenance planning
Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid and other lubricants have different requirements. The exact model literature and component identification guide the product and quantity. Colour alone is not a specification.
Cooling airflow, AC performance, battery condition, rubber parts, tyres and fluid leakage deserve attention when the car operates in heat, traffic and dust. Inspection findings should still decide what is replaced.
An undocumented fluid or filter does not automatically justify a full replacement list. Record what can be identified, inspect condition, check for overdue safety work and build a staged plan around evidence.
A major or minor service label is useful only when the included work is written down. The estimate should identify the oil and filter, inspections, additional fluid work, scan or road-test scope and any items that require condition-based approval. This prevents a low headline package from expanding without a clear reason.
A quote needs a defined job
There is no reliable single price for “Zotye repair.” Diagnostic time, access, vehicle condition, parts identity and the checks needed after installation all change the estimate.
A reproducible complaint with useful history usually needs a more focused inspection than several intermittent warnings with earlier wiring work.
Local stock, supplier confirmation, freight, condition and return terms affect both cost and downtime.
Broken fasteners, modifications, corrosion, previous sealant or an incomplete repair can add labour that was not visible at booking.
Road testing, leak checks, adaptation, calibration or a cooling and charging check may be needed before handover.
Ask for the diagnostic or inspection charge, approved repair scope, parts details, labour, VAT treatment, exclusions and the condition that could change the estimate. If the car must be dismantled to expose the fault, agree the inspection stage and reassembly decision in advance.
Before booking
The answers define what can be decided before inspection and what still depends on the exact car.
Yes, an enquiry can be assessed when you provide the year, VIN, engine, transmission and complaint. The workshop confirms capability, parts information and the first checks before the visit.
Start by sharing the exact warning and whether it concerns the 12-volt supply, charging or electric drive. Low-voltage and high-voltage work have different safety and equipment requirements, so the workshop confirms the eligible scope first.
A code can identify the system reporting a problem, but wiring, voltage, a sensor, software state or a mechanical condition may create related faults. A final repair quote normally follows targeted checks.
Parts sourcing can be investigated using the VIN, current part number, photographs and component details. Availability and lead time vary, and an order is placed only after the proposed route is explained.
No. Stop safely, switch the engine off and call for advice. Continuing to drive can turn a cooling fault into wider engine damage. Do not open a hot cooling system.
Alignment may be part of the answer, but tyre pressure, wheel damage, bushes, joints, springs, dampers and ride height should be checked first. Meaningful looseness or damage is repaired before alignment.
The available route may include an original part, a verified aftermarket option, a rebuild or a suitable used component. The quote should identify the exact option instead of making a blanket promise for every repair.
No manufacturer authorisation is claimed. Auto Repair UAE is an independent workshop in Al Quoz, Dubai.
Prepare the first inspection
Tell us your Zotye model and the problem you have noticed. We can ask for a warning photo, year or VIN if those details would help with diagnosis or parts matching. If the car may be unsafe to drive, call first.
