Build an observation the technician can reproduce
Record whether the vehicle was cold or warm, stationary or moving, accelerating or coasting, and which drive or suspension mode was selected. For a noise or vibration, note road surface, speed, steering angle, braking input and whether passengers or luggage change it.
Photograph the complete warning message and keep the order in which several warnings appeared. A low-voltage or network disturbance can create messages across multiple systems, so the sequence matters more than the number of alerts.
Do not clear history or repeatedly disconnect the battery just before diagnosis unless the vehicle information requires an immediate safety action. Stored events and freeze-frame data can preserve the conditions that triggered the concern.
