What we inspect
A dent can involve more than the outer skin
A shallow parking ding may be limited to the visible skin. A deeper strike can move an inner frame, mounting point, door beam, hinge, latch, bracket, lamp, wheel-arch liner, camera, parking sensor, or wiring. The inspection follows the location and force of the damage rather than assuming every dent is cosmetic.
We separate visible bodywork from additional repairs in the estimate. This lets you understand what restores appearance, what protects corrosion resistance, and what is needed for correct opening, closing, lighting, sensing, or wheel clearance.
- Door dent
- Check skin shape, body line, paint, access, window mechanism, side-impact equipment, hinge, latch, seal, and gap.
- Fender or quarter
- Review wheel clearance, liner, mounts, lamp edge, adjoining panels, aluminum or steel construction, and blending needs.
- Tailgate dent
- Check latch operation, powered movement, glass, trim, camera, lamps, seals, and water-entry risk.
- Hood dent
- Inspect bracing, latch area, edge alignment, paint, insulation, and access without damaging the inner structure.
- Bumper damage
- Assess plastic deformation, splits, tabs, brackets, reinforcement, parking sensors, cameras, and adjoining panels.
- Impact near a wheel
- Include tire, wheel, suspension, steering, brake, alignment, and body-clearance checks when the strike could transmit load.
